This policy explains how MWT Direct ("we", "us", "Team MegaWatts") handles information you give us through mwtdirect.com. We run this site to recruit solar sales representatives, so the information here is job application information.
Information we collect
We only collect what you type into the application form:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your mobile phone number
- Your Instagram handle, if you choose to give it
- How long you have been selling solar, and your best sales month
We also collect basic analytics about how the site is used (pages viewed, referring source, general location, device type). That data is not tied to your name.
How we use it
To review your application, to contact you about the role, to schedule an interview, and to send you recruiting emails and text messages about the opportunity. That is all. We do not use your information to sell you anything.
SMS and mobile opt-in data
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
You give consent to receive text messages by checking the SMS consent box on the application form. Consent is not a condition of being considered for the role. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Full messaging terms are in our Terms of Service.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We do use a small set of service providers to run the hiring process, and they only handle your data on our behalf:
- ActiveCampaign, for our recruiting email and SMS
- Formspree, which delivers the application form to our inbox
- Calendly, for interview scheduling
- Vercel, which hosts this site
We also share information with SunVena Solar, the company Team MegaWatts sells for, when it is needed to evaluate or onboard you. Beyond that, we only disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep applications for as long as we are considering you and for a reasonable period afterward in case a role opens up later. Ask us to delete your information and we will.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link at the bottom of any email, stop texts by replying STOP, and ask us to correct or delete what we hold about you by emailing us. We will act on that request.
Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to application data to the people running recruiting. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we do not keep information we do not need.
Age
This site is for people seeking employment. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
